Excellent series with original songs of Mikis Theodorakis directed by the composer himself. This first volume, released in 1971, includes two cycles of songs, "The Folk Songs" and "Night of death". The songs are interpreted by two great artists at their first steps: Antonis Kaloyiannis and the unforgettable Maria Dimitriadi. Enjoy a marvellous album ripped in lossless from a remastered CD, released in 2008.

The second volume of the collector’s series "Mikis Theodorakis directs Miki Theodoraki" with original recordings from the early song cycles of the legendary composer. In this album you will find recordings from "Romancero Gitano", "Songs for Andreas", "Mythology" and "18 Little Songs of my Bitter Country". The singers are, the young at 1971, Antonis Kaloyiannis and Maria Dimitriadi. Enjoy one more rare gem by Mikis Theodorakis.
