I can’t stand the bitter and twisted Kitano, but I love Hisaishi’s work with him and some memorable tunes were created which made the films more bearable. There are many different styles of music here so you wouldn’t know they were all by the same composer. The heart-warming and catchy "Summer" is my favourite track, followed by the elegiac "Hana-bi".
