I’m no expert when it comes to video (playback). I’m using Combined Community Codec Pack (http://www.cccp-project.net/). That should be able to playback the 10-bit video.

This is truly an amazing OVA, knowing Yokoyama’s works makes this even cooler… but it isn’t necessary. Too bad the sequel manga, Giant Robo – Chikyuu ga Moe-tsukita Hi (9 volumes) hasn’t been translated, and there are no RAWs for those either. 🙁
