Just a note… This has music only from Gary Chang and is based on a very early cut of the film. The film was re-cut several times, and only the final version has a few cues from Zimmer/Mancina. Interestingly, the UK DVD has an earlier version of the film, with numerous changes and only Chang’s music. When the studio wanted it to be more of an action film, Chang re-wrote several cues, and Zimmer and Mancina composed some of the re-cut and added scenes. Sadly, none of those cues have been released. On a non-score note, the UK DVD is a fun watch for fans of the film. It’s way more subtle, and even lacks the trademark of the series (Berenger shooting a guy in the eye through the scope – he does this with a hand gun in Sniper 3!).
