Spectacular Spider-Man – Biology 101

Some of you may or may not remember my first attempt at getting Spec. Spidey music (Thread 119322).

Well, I’ve expanded upon that, and made a soundtrack of the first three episodes – that’s right, every music cue from the first three episodes.

The files are MP3 320kbps, at a sample rate of 48kHz. It runs about an hour at 145 MB.

You’ll see there’s a strange little AAC file in there. That’s the original, untampered with sound file of the theme song ripped from the DVD. You can encode it to whatever you’d like.

Now, I plan to do future episodes as well, but am not sure how you guys want them: I can group them by story arc (as I did this time) or by episode. Lemme know which you’d prefer.

This is some of the best music I’ve listened to – it outclasses a bunch of movie scores I’ve heard. These are the same guys who made the music for the entire DCAU (that includes Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League/Unlimited, Batman Beyond, and more). So even if you haven’t watched the series, give this a try.

One last thing: the artwork is bad. Baaad. Feel free to make your own.

As someone who really loves this series and is forever disappointed that they never released any sort of soundtrack, I must say thanks for the continued releases for the series! Some of these tracks, like Biology 101, are flawless with just about no SFX either. So thanks!

I tried to identify the opera in ‘Gangland’, and the names I got were ‘Rigoletto’ and ‘Cortigiani’. Not sure if those are correct, but oh well. The tracks are extra long because I didn’t want the opera interrupted.

And here’s Drama 101 (http://www69.zippyshare.com/v/15785306/file.html). That wraps up the series. I hope you all enjoy listening to these as much as I enjoyed making them.

The final track – the instrumental theme song – is courtesy of philip98livedk from YouTube. He gave me permission to use it.

Also, something to note – I made sure that the album artwork for Chemistry 101 was dominantly green so that, in iTunes 11, the tracklist would be green. Then, for Drama 101, I wanted the album artwork to be mostly purple so that the tracklist would be purple. Those are Goblin’s primary colors – green and purple.

Already liked your first attempt (even if the louds and lows of volume in some tracks, certainly due to the presence of sfx, were quite disturbing), DMP were for sure on the top in this series, way better than in the more recent Young Justice and Avengers Assemble…
Many themes are excellent, like Rhino’s, Black Cat’s, etc…
