I don’t want to sound like an ingrate, because if anything I’ve shown, is that that’s the least I am, so please don’t get me wrong; but if you’re using MEGA, why not upload as a single file instead of doing so in parts? Beats the purpose of using MEGA in the first place…

The idea behind it could be that – if these are separate parts than it’s easier to re-start each download, rather than download the whole file large archive from the very beginning.
But that would be more applicable in case of large files, for example if the whole archive is 1,5 GB than make each part is 500mb or so, but in this case the main archive is just slightly over 300mb, so it wouldn’t be too big of a loss to restart it even if it’s a sinle file.

… but if you’re using MEGA, why not upload as a single file instead of doing so in parts?…
I have an upload speed around 75~80KB (upload a file of 150MB take me around 35~30min.), and sometimes my connection goes unstable when I try to upload big files. (YES, my ISP suck :p)

One time I try to upload a single file around 720MB.
1st try suddenly stops around 69%
2nd try suddenly stops around 45%
3rd try nah… I already give up that time, already waste many time trying to upload that file.
I try again the next day with splitted files and everything goes perfect.

… Beats the purpose of using MEGA in the first place…
And I use MEGA because many people around here prefer the maximum download speed possible.
That’s the reason.
