Dear Yannis, this CD sounds like original MP3 source. No offense, but sometimes I think some guys here get the mp3 file and passes it to flac thinking that the sound improves, but it does not improve…

Thanks r.ai for the info that it’s MP3 re-encoded to FLAC!, I download FLACs because I think they’re lossless, and then I can encode them in my favorite format (M4a AAC) – but it sounds terrible if it’s just MP3 -> FLAC -> AAC – so thanks for the heads up so I don’t reencode it!

The boated FLACs just use double space used than regular MP3 and sound the same if they’re not lossless, but I’m still grateful for the upload.

I checked the spectral audio of the tracks, and they appear to be lossless instead… Here is an example:
