Interesting…Is this sourced from the CD or a genuine 5.1 music source? (ie. not a DVD rip with SFX removed)

It’s from the original DVD, of the Collector’s Edition of the score.

I got the DVD Soundtrack too at KFC, when you spent $80 or more for a limited time during the Movie showing. But i think they were out of gravy that day
if i recall correctly, and i threw a big damn fit and the manager came out and eventually gave it (DVD) to me, so i could be wrong on the $80 meal deal.

I have this version too, its sound pretty cool if you play it in a 5.1 system. Just regular stereo speakers I wouldn’t bother.

You can isolate channels by using Media Player Classic.

HBP was released in 5.1 too, but I think I read that that was upmixed from stereo.

No, all it was was uncompressed WAV files in stereo. Basically a CD rip lol.

It’s really encoded as Dolby Pro Logic 1/2.
So if you play it back on a 5.1 system with DPL enabled, you should be able to get something out of it.

It won’t be discreet. Just matrixed. :/

You can do it, really, with any of them on a computer.
Use something "Meier Crossfeed" or any other DSP plugin to emulate a fake surround sound environment.

Personally, I like stereo with Meier Crossfeed more.

Or if you play through headphones, Dolby Headphone DSP.

Immortals ost did the same thing too…
And the first Sherlock Holmes…………………………………….. …………… -_-
