DDResampled – The Full Versions (Dance Dance Revolution, In the Groove)

I used to be pretty deep into the Dance Dance Revolution scene back in the day. I was a proponent of high-quality and lossless audio in Dance Dance Revolution simulation. Over the years, I’ve collected quite a bit of music that is featured in Dance Dance Revolution and In the Groove as it originally appears in lossless; some fairly common, some pretty rare. Overall, this endeavor has set me back hundreds of dollars, but I digress.

I’ve been trying to push myself to update this torrent from 2008:

Every time I do, I always check the song listings to see what I might have missed that would be obtainable. And that just adds more to the list of things to do. A DuckDuckGo search for Des-ROW led me, inexorably, here. Although I’m not sure why, as I wasn’t able to find any mention of the group anywhere here. But apparently I’ve been here before; I luckily guessed an old password of mine and sure enough, there I was.

Anyways, since I was here, I figured I might post here to try and obtain more featured Dance Dance Revolution & In the Groove content for the project.

OK, more specifics:

I’m looking for lossless, full-length songs that made an appearance, albeit shorter and edited, in Dance Dance Revolution and/or In the Groove, preferably sourced from their original appearance in most circumstances. My most desired track on my personal wishlist is Des-ROW’s Daikenkai. Legitimate lossless sources of Joga tracks are up there (junodownload’s come natively lossy).
I have decided to not include songs that first appeared in DDR versions released after Supernova (North America).
A longer version of a Konami Original from a different Bemani game I historically haven’t considered to be a "full-length" track, (I.E. "A (Beatmania IIDX Version)") however I might depending on the track and the length.

Feel free to discuss the project, ask questions or offer your help! An answer I cannot give is when the update will ultimately be released, although I am trying for a Christmas 2014 release! Contributions will be greatly appreciated by all!

Christmas 2015? Sure, why not?

I didn’t get the vibe that this was in demand, so it kind of became a low-priority. But contributions spark interest and if I’m not the only one that’s vested in something, then I take things a lot more seriously.

I’ll also mention that I’ve obtained what I came here looking for. o.O

The availability of sources of lossless music these days is overwhelming. There will never be a point in time where I’ll be able to say that I’m done because there will always be something else I can get my hands on.

Sounds like its going to be a long ride. How about you make some kind of milestone release every 6 months or something. 🙂
Its hard to follow your progress, because your ddresampled webseite seems to be outdated. I just hope you get more followers and supporters. 🙂
