BOYS ON THE SIDE (unreleased score by David Newman) (lossless/flac)

In 1995’s Boys On The Side, Whoopi Goldberg, Drew Barrymore, and Mary-Louise Parker are 3 gals thrown together by chance on a cross-country roadtrip to sunny California. The fun turns bittersweet as we learn that one is a depressed and unemployed lounge singer, another is HIV-positive, and the 3rd pregnant and on the run from her drug-dealing boyfriend.

David Newman’s music for the film is mostly pensive, underscoring those sentimental scenes where the girls eventually bond and their lives intertwine. The commercial soundtrack on Arista contained only 13 pop-vocals used in the film. This disc has 22 instrumental tracks totaling just over 24 minutes.

Good stereo sound. No dialog or sfx.
Tau and EAC indicated all tracks on this disc to be lossless.
