Same deal as the movie thread.

Openings:
Boy Meets World – seasons 5-7 were good. But I felt the first 4 seasons had the best openings. I thought the opening for season 2 which was animated was simple, yet awesome the season 4 opening that had shots of the previous seasons at various points was cool.

Batman TAS – Hands, down, bar none, best opening out of all Batman TV shows. It’s like it was said during The Legacy Continues feature on the Season 1 DVD. The opening had no title and did not need one. That 30 second opening has everything you needed to know about The Caped Crusader. I really liked the last shot a lot, but another shot that was great was seeing Batman take down a thug without you knowing what he actually did to him.

Gargoyles – The opening narration and music, what isn’t best about it?

Touch – Love the narrations done by Jake during each episode and I think they really add to the show.

Buffy/Angel – the music really made these openings IMO. I really liked the last shots they chose. For example, the last shot of Angel walking alone during the openings of that show was the best choice for that particular opening. Buffy had some great last shots too.

Endings:
Touch – I really liked the endings of all the episodes and that’s not just because of the narrations. The endings were well executed by all the actors involved.

I’ll add more when I think of them.

I think we should all agree GoT has one of the greatest openings ever but I also love the one from Black Sail’s and the one from Viking’s. Powerful themes both of them.

Great Main Title by Patrick Williams and nice ironic message:

Airwolf’s opening theme has got to rank up near the all time tops. I like Elementary’s full opening, both music and visual.

What no love for Babylon 5? Personally loved the different opening per season but my favourite is season 4.

I always liked the opening credits to Knight Rider and Miami Vice for the music.

LOST so simple and on point. Worked well as a dramatic break between the opening scene and the rest of the episode, probably used it better than any other show.

Avatar the Last Air Bender Great intro, briefly tells the audience what it’s all about.
