The ULTIMATE Main Title Thread

I’ve decided to try something a little new and exclusively showcase the many different main title music pieces that have either been ingrained in our memories since we can even remember or something you just heard recently. Hopefully we can get some discussion going on up in here. Feel free to share your own as this is completely open to everyone. Also, you can post download links or simply post Youtube versions if you so choose.

The first piece I bring to you today is from a fairly well-known action series from the 80’s that I’m sure some or many of you probably grew up watching as a kid. It’s THE FLASH featuring music by Danny Elfman conducted by the late and great Shirley Walker. Enjoy!

The thread title is a bit misleading now but feel free to post whatever you want in here. This is designed as a sampler of the multiple different genres of music. I only request that NO full releases (unless it’s a full album posted as one track on Youtube, that’s acceptable) or archive files of any kind be shared in here. YouTube and Soundcloud links are acceptable and any other online video network but no archives. Got it? Okay, let’s move on. The next little goody I have is from a delightfully nostalgic little film that I find myself revisiting every so many years. I’ve also used it in one of my recent unheard works to excellent effect but it’s one track I love to hear in its entirety. Let’s check out the clip:

Here’s an unforgettable and one of the greatest main title music EVER: Hocus Pocus. I know everybody here knows it backwards but this main title is simply amazing. John Debney was able to create an incredible ambient, and the music surely has a certain tone to it. Go check it out:
