Liam Neeson was a good choice for Narrator, but personally I prefer the Richard Burton version mainly due to better pacing and drama.
Has anybody had any issue with the .cue files though? I can’t get the cue files to work right and even cuetools can’t seem to fix them like it usually can.

Issue? Why would you need them? Unless you’re planning on making a perfect copy of the actual CD. Which is… illegal, i guess… 😛
Seriously, open the cue file in notepad and you’ll see this (just using one line):
FILE "05 – Brave New World.wav" WAVE
It is referring to a wav-file and what you have here are flac-files. I suppose that could be the problem. And besides, the file name itself (Noncompliant.cue) could also be a hint… Note that i haven’t even tried correcting the cue-file so…

Right but that’s what cuetools does – it normally corrects the cue file if you drop it in the program – it fixes issues like the "WAVE" lines in the cue sheet. But for some reason cuetools which normally has no issue fixing cue sheets can’t fix these for some reason. I can’t figure out why it doesn’t like these particular cue sheets. Very odd. Now and then I come across cue sheets that I can’t seem to do anything with.
I like to use the cue sheets in my external media player which reads them. And they’re important for burning gapless tracks if you were planning on burning a CD as you said (I just use my media player).
Thanks for posting this new version!
I too would like to hear it and do a comparison.
Loved the 1978 version!
Thank you.
