Note: I’ve improved codyap09’s original release, including 3 new tracks that for some reason cody didn’t include, those being the alternate Garden of Magic, alternate Thackery’s Transformation (Witches’ Lair Pt. 3) and the instrumental of Sarah’s Theme. Also, I fixed some transitions that were just weird, like the last section of Witches’ Lair and the middle section of Max Fools the Witches.

Note: I’ve completely recreated the original 48-track sessions into a complete album, based on the cue assembly from the Intrada liner notes provided by codyap09. Kudos have to go to the original uploaders Snoopy1960 for the Score Archives and Hazelkirk for the original 48-track sessions. Kudos also go to codyap09 for re-uploading both releases. For this release, I utilized Snoopy’s Score Archives album, Hazelkirk’s 48-track sessions, and the promo score (1 cue only, Escape from the Witches’ Lair, since it’s the only album to feature this cue oddly, except for the Intrada album). This took a lot of hard work and time, and I hope you all enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed putting it together. This release was compiled using both 320kbps MP3 AND lossless FLAC sources but the final result is presented in 320kbps MP3. Enjoy!

Note: the original release was re-uploaded by codyap09 but unfortunately, he had only the untouched source so I did all the mixing and editing, which turned out to be really fun. This release is now brought to you in lossless FLAC and completely restored and clipping-free.
As many of the scores listed above were extremely rare until some time ago, I decided to compile EVERY SINGLE VERSION of it in an ultimate "score pack", now featuring the recording sessions. This release includes codyap09’s complete score, the promotional score, Intrada’s complete score, codyap09’s Deluxe Editions, GoodMusician’s Complete Magic edition (SFX-free), Hazelkirk’s recording sessions, and Snoopy1960’s super rare promo. I know these are now available in pretty much everywhere but I wanted to make the searching process easier for those who don’t have this amazing score yet. I promise you folks that every single version of it is included in this release completely SFX-free. I hope you all enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed posting it here. Enjoy!
I’ll try and get it re-upped in the next few hours if Packupload collaborate. Packupload was rather slow in the past few days, let’s see if it is faster today.
I don’t think I will be able to re-up it any time soon, so if anyone already have the recording sessions, feel free to re-upload it in another server.
EDIT:
Noticing mine is only MP3, I could provide the FLAC versions…
That would be great, thanks in advance.

Disc 2 [44:58]
You missed To the Witches’ House We Go w/o vocals. It would fit between Allison’s House Source and Witches Meet the World (Isolated Orchestra). And Winnie Flies (Alternate Insert) was supposed to come before Witch Attack (Part I – Isolated Orchestra).
I also moved "Winnie Flies" insert to make for a better listening experience. Now that the site is up again, I can finish uploading disc 2
And if you are going to put Brother and Sister Theme as an alternate, you will want to rename it to This is Your Home Now (Alternate).
Thoughts?
Thoughts?
You could try Packupload…
As I’m currently working on this, it won’t get here like today but keep logged in and you will see it floating around here until the end of the week. Until then, just sit back, get your iPhone/iPod/Android/other MP3 player you use and relax on those comfy headphones while listening to the multiple releases of this wonderful score.
I actually don’t think it’s overwhelming. I always loved this movie, and the score is fantastic!
My thoughts exactly. I can already tell from the samples that I’m gonna have to do even more work on it. Blahhhhh. However, it’s pretty awesome to finally have all the missing cues from the opening scenes in TRUE lossless format versus the lossy FLAC files that were circulating. In track 2, I wonder if it’ll include the choir from the bootleg or exclude it in favor of the choirless version in the film. Record labels are extremely weird about choirs in film scores for some reason. Also, despite claiming to be complete, I can already tell that it’s not but it’s not that far off at all. The only cue that looks to be missing is the cue where Max comes into his room after Jay and Ice steal his shoes and Danny pops out of the closet to scare him. It’s only a 30 second track and it’s not like it’s not already available in 320 MP3 anyway so I can deal with that. Everything else looks like it’s there but I can confirm when the CD gets here. Stay tuned.
AM I FUCKING DREAMING?!! IT’S AWESOME!! Please, PLEASE post it here cody!! And the Danny! cue is actually included, yes. It’s the introduction to the track Hallowe’en, it clocks 1:10.
You’re right on the Danny! cue upon closer inspection. However I’ve noticed that the choir sections have been downmixed. Listen to Witch Attack Pt. 1 on your bootleg and Witches Capture Dani (sample available on Intrada) for an example. I’m excited but feeling a bit disheartened by the day. It shipped yesterday so hopefully should be in tomorrow or Friday.
Yeah, the choir is a little different… but it’s kinda nice ‘cuz we can include those tracks as alternates on our bootlegs!! 😀
And because I’m so excited about this release I’m mixing my bootlegs the way they appear in the Intrada page. 😛 Track 3, Witches’ Lair, done. LOL. I’m so stupid!! 😀 But if anyone wants me to post (doubt it) just ask.

Wow, what’s with the negativity?
I just think it’s hard for someone to ask for something that’s not even official knowing that the official thing is coming out in two or three days…
I have to agree with you. I’m feeling a little disheartened too after listening to those two tracks.

Here’s what I think the Intrada set is going to be. The only thing missing is the Divertimento source music but I hope to get it when the Intrada set leak.
Hocus Pocus (Intrada/Unofficial): https://mega.co.nz/#!UN1Q2JhL!M_arY0RdEU5vwhhzF3Jg7FovgpoymezkHEj952H QCNg
Debney had a very specific idea in how he wanted the chorus to be mixed in. We provided a mix with it at a higher level, but his vision was to have it as a color of the orchestra, not a soloist, so it was mixed down a bit.
That makes sense then. Mischief managed.
As for track 2, on the intrada forums, it was said:
This shows you really should WAIT until you get the disc. There is an instrumental version of Sarah’s theme, scored beautifully for solo piano plus orchestra. It plays early on the album. Parker sang merely a distant snippet for this sequence and a fuller version later in the picture. So we included her full length version, of course, and placed the special orchestral version earlier on the disc. And, sorry, but there are NO other alternates. We included everything Debney scored and everything that appeared on the 48-track session masters, including the alternates.
–Doug
And I can tell you the "snippet" used in the film mix is the same vocal as used later…that’s how i made my version.
The Intrada message board (http://www.intrada.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=5794). See page 2 for the comment about the choir mixing.
Me too, I wonder why they didn’t include it in the end credits… I guess I’ll have to update my release, I put the main title extention as "Strings Tremolo". Thanks for the info, GoodMusician!!
I’ve presented it here twice. Once as the Film Instrumental (with some vocal bleed) and one as a full mix.

Sorry folks but part 2, 3, 4 and 5 will have to wait until tomorrow. The upload is really slow, and I can’t stay on the computer much. You will have to stick with what you have for now.
I hope that each track is not only 30-45 seconds each, huh?
I never knew that there were SO many versions of this soundtrack, hellavalot more than that old "Bladerunner" soundtrack, hehehehehe 🙂

Yeah, it’s pretty insane. Not forgetting that it clocks 11 HOURS!! But you may have realized that it’s practically the same release with different track listings, so a bunch of tracks get repeated 8 or 9 times. And there are many versions, yes, 8, to be more specific.
Oops… so nothing new then? Sorry everyone, I wasn’t aware of that.
You’re welcome. And me neither, I also didn’t know they were in the liner notes. Glad to see I wasn’t the only one! If cody hadn’t told me that I would die without knowing it. None of the cue lists I found mentioned anything about liner notes, not even a word.
And the I split things might have been over zealous on some parts so I have to "create" part I, II, and III oye lol
I hope it helps everyone whose making their own edit like I am:

For [10m4] End Credits, we’re all pretty accustomed to the "Brother and Sister" theme which then transitions into "Max Meets Allison" so I’ve always assumed that it meant the end credits was recorded in 2 parts. This would then mean that the "Brother And Sister" theme which has a different ending (but is otherwise the same recording) is either, as Intrada calls it, an Alternate Part I OR is meant as a concert version by itself (usually produced for the Album).
But I notice that [10m3a] is called "Bridge to End Song" which almost implies that the song was intended to be there…
Wonder which was intended… hm

Yes, that exactly! I’m also wondering if they first thought of including the ending song but I think they changed their minds because the song just felt weird in the middle of the orchestral cues, which I totally agree. On the other side, it would be interesting to have the song in a totally restored and remastered form. Oh well, just glad to have what we have. And hey, do you plan on posting the Complete Magic set in FLAC?

New Recording Sessions coming soon. I’ve completely recreated the original 48-track sessions into a complete album, based on the cue numbers and titles from the Intrada liner notes. I compiled it from the original 48-track sessions, the Score Archive and 1 cue from the promo score (Escape from the Witches’ Lair). Also, I’ve removed that annoying clicking sound in The Black Candle. The final result is a total 66-track album clocking 1:48:16. Before anyone asks, no, I haven’t included the new Garden of Magic with piano solo as it’s not part of the original sessions. As it’s said on the Intrada’s page the piano solo was exclusively recorded to be released on their album.

I’ll get around to uploading it as soon as possible. Probably tomorrow but I’m not sure. Though I’m sure of one thing: it will get here until the end of next week.
Take it from me: unless you choose to download the whole thing, the first one is your best choice. It’s the one that gives you the most pleasant presentation of this score. Still, I strongly recommend you to download EVERY SINGLE version from the list so you can compare them and see the most variated treatments given to the score. Let me know your choice later.
Thinking the same thing. I’m vastly disappointed it didn’t make it to the Intrada release.
