Tyler has been hired to score the upcoming live-action/CG reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The film based on the classic 1980s characters is directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans) and stars Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, Jeremy Howard as Donatello and Noel Fisher as Michaelangelo. Megan Fox has been cast as the female lead and William Fichtner, Will Arnett, Abby Elliott and Danny Woodburn are also starring. Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec (Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol) have written the screenplay. Michael Bay, Brad Fuller & Andrew Form (The Purge, A Nightmare on Elm Street), Jason Reed, Galen Walker (TMNT) and Scott Mednick are producing the Platinum Dunes and Nickelodeon Movies production. Tyler has previously collaborated with Liebesman on the features Battle Los Angeles, The Killing Room and Darkness Falls. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to be released on June 6, 2014 by Paramount Pictures.
