bump! it’s been a good while since the movie released, the dvd/blu-ray is out in certain places and is gearing up to hit shelves anywhere else, and a complete score is still MIA (get it?… ok no :D)… yesterday I read something about tyler’s complete scores being hard to get a hold of, but since it’s a Marvel film I’m still holding out hope…
Although there’s plenty of good small moments found in the commercial release (many of the tracks are cues from different scenes put together, for example, "Extremis" or "Return"), but score corresponding to somewhat unimportant scenes (when Tony leaves Maya in the morning, the main tag at the beginning or small cues like Tony watching Happy in the hospital) are part of this release as well, which is very surprising for a film like this, that usually releases the highlight plot points and main action sequences and calls it a day. Obviously like any commercial score, some tracks still miss small fragments which are probably saved for complete versions, but the efforts of this commercial score are worth mentioning too.
Of course nothing beats a full-on complete score so I’m still hoping a good soul stumbles upon it and manages to share it 🙂
