Great share, The 4th! Was waiting for this one and didn’t expect it so soon! Fielding always is a winner, and this being a new release of a score never released before, makes this absolute fantastic! I’ve played the samples of this last week on buysoundtrax, and was immediately stunned by them – looking forward to the complete score! As a fan of John Williams’ score of "The Poseidon Adventure", I was very curious how Jerry Fielding would approach this follow-up movie. What I heard so far is stunning – the sample of track 18 – Gun Fight alone is riveting! I also LOVE the marching end title (24, original version), gives me goosebumps – that’s a great way to end a score! And the end title (film version) – track 25, which apparently was used for the movie, seems to be a hommage to John Williams, with its majestic and solemn theme!

Fielding doing a disaster movie – it works absolutely! 🙂

Thank you very much for this neglected Jerry Fielding score. The Master of Disaster at least got a decent tunesmith on the movie, shame about the plot, script etc. Enjoyable sunday afternoon entertainment. The score will endure longer.
