The Blues Brothers OST – Expanded Edition

3 years since we began this odyssey to bring together the most complete BB movie experience, the wait is over. A lot of collaborating on the special movie reconstruction thread (Thread 85685) brought in more than I anticipated.
Since the thread came to a sudden halt a long while back, a couple (I think) tracks uploaded there have expired, the elevator music for one and I didn’t download them initially and I forgot about them but I don’t think they’ll override the overall enjoyment.
My love and respect go to everybody else on there who helped and willed us on especially sinus, Number 5 and Phaota … I’m very proud of this album and I hope you all enjoy and show some love

Blonde, I thought I’d point out a few inconsistencies with the collection.
Track 17 "Your Cheatin’ Heart" has a lot of noise. I was able to find a clean copy of the song on Amazon. The song is off "Kitty’s Choice" and is 2:38
Track 16 "Boogie Chillen’" is actually titled "Boogie Chillun" in the credits and is the 2:35 version released in 1959 by Vee-Jay Records
Track 22 "I’m Walkin’" sounds like a live version. The studio version is only 2:05 and appears to have been looped, like "I Can’t Turn You Loose" in the Dixie Mall chase scene.
Speaking of "I Can’t Turn You Loose" (Track 24) I have a version where the organ is turned up a bit louder.
Lastly, your version of "Minnie the Moocher" (Track 23) omits a very small part of the beginning…I believe it’s the cymbals (you can hear them on the album version)

Some of these have obviously been sped up or slowed down in the film, including "Boogie Chillun" and "Your Cheatin’ Heart" (I did a direct comparison on my PC. the songs are exactly the same. just slightly different speeds)

I’m not sure where you got that version of "Ride of the Valkyries" (Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, btw) but it is superb. I was able to find a copy previously, but it had a few skips, mostly towards the end.

Finally, I think two more songs could have been added to the second disc: the "live" version of Stand By Your Man (including the intro "a favorite of the horn section") and the version of "Gimme Some Lovin’" with Joe Walsh on lead vocals (also more organ).

For the 7 songs I’ve mentioned, I’d be willing to send them to you.

We don’t know who did this version of the Girl from Ipanema, and it’s only in snippets, so it’s difficult to find (would be nice if we could get it though)
Die Romantiker we don’t know either, but at least that’s primarily intact, albeit with dialogue and other sounds in front of it. Also, it was mentioned that the song was sped up a bit.
God Music is unfortunately in between the two halves of The Old Landmark and we also don’t have an artist for that.

Would be nice to be able to get all three of those songs but at the moment I’m satisfied with what we have.

The Issue:
–Rapidshare links have all been set to "Private" and are apparently inaccessible to everyone except the owner.
–This is a Rapidshare-wide issue

The Problem:
–Until the owner creates a new SUB FOLDER, sets new permissions and moves all the files to that SUB FOLDER, no files will be able to be downloaded.

The Solution:
–First, you have to make sure that your user alias and folder alias is set.
–Please check the account overview on the right hand side:

–Create and SAVE a User Name
–Create and SAVE a Folder Alias

After that, you can set the privileges for a folder in the File Manager:

Please note that you can only set access rights for folders but not for individual
files. You can not set privileges on "My Folder" therefore you have to create a
sub folder. Just right click on the sub folder and choose "Privileges".

–Select NEW FOLDER
–Name it the same name as the Folder Alias you already saved in Overview.

Click on "Shares" and in the line "Public Access" tick the appropriate boxes for:
1. View: Users are allowed to see the folder content.
2. Download: Users are allowed to download data from this folder.
3. Upload: Users are allowed to upload data to this folder.

There are 2 different ways you can share the files with the public. You can
provide the download link to a file or you can provide the link to the entire
folder. On the bottom of the "Privileges" window you can find the folder link or
if you would like to share only one file, right click on the file and share it via
the share option.

Now how do you get all your old files into the new folder?

–Just SELECT ALL on your files in MY FOLDER
–DRAG and DROP into the new Folder Alias

That should do the trick. Your files should now be available for downloading again.
