I can’t send you a PM because I don’t have 5 posts 🙁
Anyway, I learned how to rip music from 3DO discs thanks to the 3DO Zero forums. There, I learned about a Windows utility called the Opera FS Reader which allows you to explore the contents of a 3DO disc
Romhacking.net – Utilities – Opera FS Reader v0.03 (http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/673/)
That page says it reads ISOs too. The reason that your OS isn’t able to read 3DO discs by default is that the discs use a proprietary file system, called the Opera File System. I know that there was also a Linux implementation of the file system, which would allow your Linux system to read the discs too.
IIRC the Super Turbo music was in a folder titled BGM. It was also compressed too, in a format called SDX2. Luckily those forums had a link to this tool which decompressed the files to WAV
aifc2wav – an aifc (ima4, sowt or sdx2) to wav translator (http://sed.free.fr/aifc2wav.html)
Hope this helps somewhat. And I hope you read this!
Amazing this soundtrack was never used elsewhere…
Kind of shame there was never a public Release…
