Shirley Walker is hands-down one of my favorite composers out there and I’m more than willing to share what music of hers I have that I can share but when these releases are made official (which is very very rarely), I encourage you to buy them.

I haven’t been able to determine yet if this is complete but it is around 10 minutes longer than the promo that was floating around. Also, it’s the 10th anniversary since the film released so remember to re-watch the movie before sitting back and enjoying this album.

Indeed, it never fails to escape me every time I hear Black Christmas because it reminds me that it was her last (and frankly least enjoyable) score. Even to the end she was a trooper even if her work suffered. I’d die to have Final Destination 3.

As I stated a year ago, I got a winky eyed response from MV Gerhard from LLLR so maybe we just might. I suspect we probably won’t get a professional Black Christmas album since Disney owns the U.S. rights and they are stingy with their scores as if PotC wasn’t proof enough until it leaked in the blink of an eye one fateful night.

This thread above is exemplary of what I like about this place. No bitching around but genuine appreciation for a great composer – Shirley Walker.
I still remember when I found the score for "Memoirs of an Invisible Man" at a bargain music store shortly after the film was released and at the time I had never consciously heard of Shirley Walker. I bought the CD and have been in love with her work ever since. It’s nice to see in this thread that there are more of us fans out there.

I like it, thank you. If you have michael Jackson’s version, that will be great.
