NOTES
This is the most complete version that we have so far, but there are a number of cues still missing. If you’re interested, here (http://www57.zippyshare.com/v/67107188/file.html) is the tracklist that I typed up from listening to the film, all missing cues included.
I compiled this release from four main sources – all legit:
O = OST
F = FYC
A = Additional Score
E = EP
(* = Not released on OST)
The bitrate is varied, as all sources were different. In the case of duplicate tracks, I selected the one with the higher bit rate.
Bonus Tracks – Tracks 21 & 22 on Disc 2 are the two songs from the OST that only the themes of which were ever used in the film. I decided against including the remaining two songs from the OST ("I’m On A Roll" & "Minion Mambo"), as they are not used in the film at all, not even the themes, and I personally don’t actually like them.
Anyway, here you go:

Thank you 🙂
So, it’s expanded, correct? Because it’s missing some cues…

Yes, I wondered what to call it because of that, but settled on "Complete" making sure I explained that there are still some missing cues. Compared to the OST, ”Expanded” seemed a little… understated? Maybe I was wrong.
from wiki – Despicable Me: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Despicable_Me:_Original_Motion_Picture_Soundtrack)
there is said that zimmer is producer, and composer are pharrel and pereira. so you are right. i would think zimmer’s name is one fan-covers, because it is bigger name than others.
Yes, that cover is a strange one. I have the back cover for it as well, and the track list is just the Additional Score + EP (totalling 15 tracks).
I have looked it all up and there is nothing on the internet about Hans Zimmer writing any of the score. It is all credited to Heitor Pereira and Pharrell Williams. Indeed, the film credits say:
Score By
Pharrell Williams
Heitor Pereira
Music Produced By
Hans Zimmer
So, that’s that, I suppose. 🙂

Thanks for your efforts! Does this mean I can delete all these different Despicable Me scores I have floating around on my hard drive?
I think so, yes. If you have just the FYC, Additional, and EP, then yes. If you have any other scores, I’d like to know about them!! 🙂
Right now, it doesn’t look likely that we’ll find legit sources for the missing cues, so we may have to do a DVD Rip to get them. I had the free trial version of DVD Audio Extractor a while back, but it expired.
Does anyone here have a working version of DVD Audio Extractor?
You’re very welcome! 🙂

I sincerely hope we get an FYC for DM2…
My humblest apologies to all – Track 2 on Disc 1 was the incorrect version of "Sweet Home Alabama". I have now updated the first post with a new link for Disc 1 with the correct version. Please re-download!
As they say, I’m very sorry for any inconvenience!
I’ve also changed the album artwork to the actual logo from the film. I think it suites it better! Here () is a link to the full resolution.
Thanks for all the kind comments and thanks so far!
Sulley 🙂
I saw one of your posts about DVD ripping, have you considered trying to get audio from the Blu-Ray version of the film? It uses DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, and I’m pretty sure it’s lossless so it could be extracted from the film easier or something.

As for DVD Ripping, I definitely would rip it, but I don’t have "DVD Audio Extractor" anymore – I had the free trial version a long time ago, which expired after 30 days, and at the moment I really can’t afford to buy the full software.
The DVD also is 5.1, and so there would be the usual 6 original channels of audio if it was ripped correctly. I wish there was a free program out there that ripped DVDs properly… Do you know of one?
Yes, that is an issue. However I found a program that (somehow) gets past the copy protection, and it worked beautifully for a couple of DVDs I ripped a while ago. It’s called "AnyDVD". but unfortunately you have to buy it. My trial version expired decades ago, damn it.
I never thought to try Handbrake… I’ll let you know how I get on. 🙂
You are very very welcome! 🙂
Thanks a lot. I haven’t heard it yet, but one question – Does any one know the name of the track being played when Gru goes to Vector’s place, and dodges the rockets, punches Vector’s shark and all that?
Again, thanks a bunch.

You’re very welcome! Glad to know this is so much appreciated! 🙂
As for "He punched my shark!"… That’s one of the several cues we don’t yet have.
Also, is it just me, or does it seem slightly odd that almost every cue with Vector’s nerdy guitar theme is one of the missing cues? Like when Gru first meets Vector at the Bank of Evil, and when Vector is playing with the shrink ray in the bathroom, and when Gru tries to get inside Vector’s fortress, and when Vector meets Mr. Perkins, etc. We basically have no cues with the Vector guitar theme in them… Also, the end credits mention a song "The Way It Is" as Vector’s theme… but after several searches on the internet, I’ve come up with absolutely nothing. Any ideas, anyone?
None of this is ripped DVD material. Interesting theory though…
It’s right underneath the download links on the first page… 😉
Thank you very much. Keep up the good work, Sully.

If you’re still looking for a DVD ripping program, i HIGHLY recommend DVD Dycrypter. I use it all the time, and it’s free! Feel free to PM me if you would like any additional info. 🙂

Does DVD Dycrypter extract the audio into the original six audio channels like DVD Audio Extractor?

Yes it does. I don’t remember if it’s the default setting or not, but yes it does. 🙂
Maybe someone has 11-track version of OST from iTunes? https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/despicable-me-original-motion/id379630607

As you probably know, the OST has NO score on it whatsoever. All the songs on the OST that were used in the film (incl. The Unicorn Song [from the short film Home Makeover], and Rocket’s Theme [see description in original post]) are included here on my complete soundtrack in the order they were used in the film. As for the other songs – I have no time for them, as they’re not in the film.
If you want the OST, you could just buy the songs that are not here.
It’s good, isn’t it?! You’re very welcome! Enjoy! 🙂
He’s very welcome! 🙂
