In Bruce Almighty, Jim Carrey plays a discontented TV reporter whose constant complaining about life convinces God to loan him some of his divine powers to see if he can do any better. Winner of the Mexico Movie Award in the "Most Divine Miracle" category for the scene where Bruce causes his wife’s breasts to grow.

In the film Steve Carrell plays another reporter named Evan Baxter. Evan became the lead character in the 2007 follow-up film, this time as a congressman who finds himself instructed by God to build an ark. The reason becomes clear when a shoddy dam bursts and floods the town. For its CGI animals and flood, Evan Almighty was the most expensive film comedy of its day.

John Debney contributed the music to both films and he composed a potpourri of folksy, tender, and grandiose tunes.

BRUCE ALMIGHTY: Promo CD distributed by Kraft-Engel. 12 titled tracks totaling 26 minutes.
EVAN ALMIGHTY: 2-CDs (recording sessions): 57 untitled tracks totaling about 90 minutes of music.

Good stereo sound. No dialog or sfx.
Tau and EAC indicated all tracks on all discs to be lossless.
Discs were ripped to FLAC using XLD.

FunnyML raises a good point that I’d like clarification on: My thinking was that a label could only claim rights to a recording they actually released. For example, Intrada could claim rights to their recording of "Until September" but would have no rights to the exact same score Kritzerland was also allowed to release. And vice versa. Since the Agency Promo and the Recording sessions I posted above are not Varese releases, does Varese have any say in them being posted here? Please chime in with your thoughts! I’ll remove the posts if I’m wrong.

Technically you are right. But we had this conversation before. The mods decided to go the safe way and not allow any links to forbidden labels, no matter if they actually own the rights to the score. Even if we only post cues they haven’t released, they are still not allowed to be shared openly.
