Did the Goonies have an ISO score, or is this a dvd rip with fx? I did not think there was much missing from the latest release?

There Was No ISO Score, And It’s A DVDRip. I Got This Rip From A Guy On A Website. Although I Agree, There Wasn’t Much Missing, I Decided To Take A Listen To It, And Although The Track Names Are ALMOST The Same Track Names On The Latest Release, This Guy Had The Tracks Mixed Down, And Had Them Arranged In Film Version.

Soooo….it is NOT a complete isolated score as the title says. All I’m saying is that things like that are misleading. It would not take much to add just a little info like that into the original post.

The Only Thing That’s Different About The Latest Release And This Release Is That In The Latest Release, There’s Only 30 Tracks (Excluding The Bonuses) And In This Version, There’s 35 (No Bonuses Included).

What I am saying is that you are calling this an ISO score, and it is not that. You are in a sense lying to members by stating that while knowing it is not. You will get little love or thanks for that.

Could it be an editorial recreation of the film edit, using the complete score CD, that would play like an Isolated Score? The music was heavily edited in post production. For example The Main Title is edited differently. Would love to hear a clean mix of that one day.

It Kind Of Is…. When I Listened To The Score, And I Kind Of Questioned How He Did It…. For Example, Track 2 Was REALLY Edited To Match The Film. There Was Also A Part From The DVDrip That He Used, Then Cleaned Up The SFX, Then Let The Rest Play Out Like It Was Just Cool.

But i thoughtyou JUST said it was not a dvd rip, and had NO fx. But, it does to some degree. See?

EDIT: Oh, and are there sfx or not?

EDIT 2: And an isolated score is per definition when a Laserdisc/DVD/BluRay has the music as a SEPARATE audio track. NOT when someone tries to rip the music from either channels of the regular audio track with speech and sfx. And by that it means that you can chose to listen to the music only somewhere in the menus.

The only reason I am harping, is that you have been around long enough, and posted enough, to know that the small details are very important to many mambers. Since the Varese album is advertised as "complete", people are going to want to know what this is when deciding to download.

Which is a lie. It is a fan edit of the OST and dvd rip in order to produce film versions of tracks and does contain some minimal fx as a result.
