Shin Sangoku Musou 7 Character Song Collections (FLAC/MP3)

This is still kind of a thread in progress, because I want my own copies of the first three.

Just added the 2011-2014 song collection in FLAC.

Many, many thanks to Musica_MaGiC@anime-mp3 for letting me share the rips of Wei, Wu and Shu!

Because I am a sad sad fanthing who loves all things Musou related, and because I’m quite frankly lazy/sick and tired of trying to find these for download, I’m slowly obtaining the physical albums and proceeding to share them with the world at large.

Please download. Please enjoy. Please feel free to provide what I do not have if you happen to have it around. (Please credit me, though.) Musou love ftw.

All files are hosted on Mediafire and have been split with HJSplit. No, I likely can’t host them elsewhere, though I might try to upload to Mega at some point. No, I will not rerip to VBR. No, I’m not very experienced with FLAC. Yes, I will reupload if there’s a real issue. (And no, I’m not cranky, honest.)

Also note: these are not soundtracks. These are character songs and messages, as in, sung/spoken by the characters’ voice actors. I honestly thought everyone knew what they were – I’m sorry for not being clearer!

By "older" you mean from the previous games (before SSM7/DW8), right? No, I don’t think they make those anymore. I’ve had varying luck in finding the character songs, but never the rest of the albums. *grr grr* Kind of irritating, I want the talk tracks too! (I’m a voice h0r…)

Hehe, no worries. I should make it a little clearer myself. Hope you enjoy anyway! The vocals are pretty amazing.

Bumped for finally having obtained rips of the other 3 CDs. These are NOT my rips – they are courtesy of Musica_MaGiC at anime-mp3.com. I only fixed up the tags and uploaded them to Mediafire. For that reason, I can’t provide FLAC or booklet scans for any of them, or 320 kbps MP3 for Wei and Wu. Still better than nothing, amirite?

Yeah, I was honestly surprised at how good the Ma duet was. Zhao Yun’s song keeps getting stuck in my head – something about the note progression makes it quite pleasant – and Yinping’s is just so adorable, all about being with her precious friends and family. (If you’re interested in translations, let me know – I’ll be glad to show you!) Zhu Ran’s sounds like it should be in a tokusatsu series… *lol* aaaaand I actually got the CD entirely for Zhong Hui’s song, heh

I should be finding out in the next couple days when the Eichi CD will ship. 🙂

I didn’t quite like Zhao Yun’s at first, but after a while, the beat and the overall waging-for-war vibe got me really addicted (and yes, it’s now stuck in my head as well). And Masaya Onosaka actually sounds different compared to his Zhuge Liang song, so that’s a good plus.

Yinping’s voice (and character actually) bugged me, but the song captured my interest because it’s probably the most chinese sounding song of all the CDs. Wang Yi’s was also good, but it’s also depressing sounding so sometimes it doesn’t work on me. Would love to get the romaji (so I don’t need to romanize it myself XD, so far I only did the Ma’s), so if you can provide it, it would be highly appreciated ^^

I don’t like Zhu Ran’s mainly because of the voice actor hahaha. And Zhong Hui’s… I totally enjoyed his first solo better, somehow it fits his snobbish arrogant show-off-ish character much better. I do love both of Zhong Hui’s songs, don’t get me wrong. XD I tend to find myself singing along – never mind that my voice doesn’t play nice with the lowest notes. I must sound like a dying moose, haha.

I should be able to find them fairly quickly if I buckle down and just listen to the darn songs again so I can plug strings of lyrics into Google… (not terribly fond of either song, ah-heh.) I’ll probably kick myself into doing it either tonight or tomorrow.
