One of the few games that deserve to be called "Hardcore": The story is disurbing, the monsters are gross and the soundtrack is awesome.
People who hates the game: Priests (satanic imagery) and sensitive persons (Eric and Dylan’s story).
The Suffering. Play it and you’ll find out why is all I gotta say!!

@Tanis : If you can’t post a response in keeping to the thread topic, then don’t post nonsensical ramblings.
In short, think before you post next time.
:loldata:
If you’re talking about Insane games, Suda51 is kind of a given, yeah?
Their games tend to be pretty ‘out there’.
Maybe not as hard as a Treasure game, but they have their moments of ‘dah fuk is DAT?’.
Back to topic:
Dragon Age: Origins had a insane moment for myself, when I was going for the Grim Reaper achievement. Lots of anger, yelling etc was heard then…
Ever tried beating a ‘bullet hell’ game with ONE life?
There you go.
I’ve probably lost more hair because of that.
Or trying to beat Dishonored on Hard with nothing but the starting power and blade…while trying to get the ‘no kill’ trophy.
Made my eyes bleed whale oil.
this is not about hard games, its about crazy games (in concept, artstyle. gameplay).
in this regard, sud51’s games are an obligatory mention.
batman forever on the sega saturn is also a pretty wtfish game. supposedly a beat em up. look it up in screwattacks vault for a breif yet 100%accurate description of the game.
also, cho aniki.

While intriguing, many of the concepts discussed in the dialogue are completely off the wall.

999 was great.
Have you played Touch Detective?
It’s your basic point-n-click adventure game, but it’s written a very ‘off’ way.

Tbh I didn’t love 999 mainly for all the dialogue you have to run through each time you play it. I got 2 endings and haven’t picked it up since. Maybe one day.
And yes I’ve played both TD games. They were nice and quirky. Also loved the character design.
