Product ID: VICL-40031, VICL-40032, VICL-40033
FLAC / LOG / CUE
New RIP with proper Japanese TAGs and file names (as written in the inlet details).
I also made a proper VGMdb (I’ve an account there) after correcting filename issues made in the previous entries.
Here are FLAC files made from my retail CD’s accurate RIP with the excellent XLD software (MacOSX equivalent –and better– to EAC for Windows).
All files are properly tagged in Japanese to match exactly with original inlet tracklistings.
CUE and LOG files are coded in Unicode (UTF-8) because of Japanese and special typography.
HQ scans available on VGMdb page (in ‘Covers’ section).

Have fun!
You want it in Romaji or English (translated)?
Any would suffice, is just that if the tags used to be wrong the old tracklist I had should be too. Thanks in advance.

great effort my friend
Sorry but my Macross The Complete link is perfectly working, I just checked it.
And why are you telling me about some SM references, Macross The Complete catalog number is VICL type (Victor/JVC).
Frankly I don’t know what is your problem with working links, maybe some computer or internet connexion issues on your side. Or, as for the PM function, you still haven’t enough posts to properly activate links in this forum.
The reason I mention SM, is that the Macross Complete set you have presented here had that catalog number, however I remembered something about the Macross with the SM on the disc and I was wondering if there was any difference between the disc I have and the ones you were presenting.
I did not mean to offend you, I am sorry if you feel I was attacking you or being negative, that wasn’t my intention. The reason I said there was an issue with the link, is it takes me to Mega, but it just leaves a blank page. I tried it in a different browser and even after logging in and downloading, it never made its way to my hard drive.
Thank you for the posting and hope no bad feelings no misunderstanding!
Don’t worry, I was just surprised by your post, that’s all (no offense at all).
About the SM reference you wrote before, it’s just ‘SM records’ (SonMay records) the famous crappy Taiwanese bootleg label. Unfortunately, like a lot of Japanese anime soundtrack, Macross The Complete was bootlegged by these Chinese/Taiwanese labels (officially illegal outside Taiwan/China but illegally distributed all around the world especially in western Europe and Americas), that’s why you heard about it.
Little more information about SonMay records, here (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Nihonjoe/SonMay).
But my upload is from the original Japanese retail copy not the crappy bootleg.
Now about the link, it works. When I click on this, I have all download features (not a blank page):
‘Download with MEGAsync’, ‘Import to your Cloud Drive’ and ‘Download through your Browser’.
So, as I wrote before, you may have some issue on your side or not enough posts in this forum.

I’m sorry to bother you but I have a problem with the cue sheet : XLD isn’t able to set the correct pre-gap time due to negative pre-gap length. For exemple, on disk 1, track 2 has :
FILE "1-02 運命の矢 (M-2~M-4).flac" WAVE
TRACK 02 AUDIO
TITLE "運命の矢 (M-2~M-4)"
PERFORMER "羽田健太郎"
SONGWRITER "羽田健太郎"
REM REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_GAIN -3.99 dB
REM REPLAYGAIN_TRACK_PEAK 1.000000
INDEX 00 03:09:13
INDEX 01 00:00:00While index01 timecode is before index00, XLD can’t burn the CD.
Is it me, or is this cue sheet wrong?
Kentaro Haneda’s true complete soundtrack releases including unreleased BGM tracks are very rare. Except this Macross The Complete (VICL-40031~3 (http://vgmdb.net/album/33492)), Space Adventure Cobra Complete Soundtrack (COCX-32609~10 (http://vgmdb.net/album/24038)) and Onii-sama e… Original Soundtrack (STLC-013~4 (http://vgmdb.net/album/49188)), I don’t know any other ones.
Did the Cobra Complete Soundtrack OST actually include unreleased BGM tracks? I don’t count the "Subtitle Bridge" as one since it’s not in good quality and it sounds like it was ripped straight from an episode
Of course, it does.

Sometimes, few short bridge and promo BGM cuts are made by the sound editor, not by the composer himself. That’s why these tracks only exist on editing sound mono tapes as if there were ‘ripped straight from an episode’.
