edit: link for soul reaver is down. re-up please?
THANK YOU ! ^^
When Soul Reaver was out on PlayStation, I loved everything about that game and the amazing soundtrack was definitely one of its highlights. Like everyone at the time I guess, I tried to get the soundtrack from the game to MP3s, so I could listen to it whenever I wanted… But there were no PSX emulators then ; no PSF format ; no tools of any kind to rip that kind of stuff… Because it wasn’t simple XA audio you could rip.
Anyway, after a while searching the web for that precious music, I had to face the fact that there WASN’T such an OST, NEVER WOULD be, end of the story. And it was too complex to rip from direct audio, right ? I mean, it’s all atmospheric tracks that play sequencially and dynamically… No one can rip that stuff properly. It would require a huge amount of work.
Right ?… 😀
And just today, almost 15 years later, it appears someone has done it !!! So I say : Oh. My. God. ^^
Thank you for your continued work on this thread, and for maintaining the links alive.
By any chance, would you have a FLAC version of this hidden somewhere ?
FIXED
Where could I find a lossless version of the Blood Omen 2 soundtrack please ?
Thanks 🙂

Try to see if any of the game’s versions has the music stored in lossless (I wouldn’t bet on it). Sadly, aside from a way too short promotional CD (which covered Soul Reaver entries (http://vgmdb.net/album/2116)) and one released alongside a magazine (with a few tracks from the first Blood Omen (http://vgmdb.net/album/5776)), the Legacy of Kain series never got official soundtracks releases; prepare yourself to be stuck with lossy stuff.
But where is this soundtrack come from ? From the game ? PC or PS2 version ? How can I extract them in the original format ? I tried with the PC version and ProjectX and I get Ogg files, but not all the tracks. Then I tried with the PS2 version too with Sound Reaver and PSound, but there aren’t any music tracks. Only the sounds and the dialogues of the game.

I can guarantee this soundtrack of Blood Omen 2 you see shared here hasn’t been ripped/fan-made, in fact, the mp3s were kindly offered by the composers themselves.
There once was a website, LOKMusic.com, which hosted mp3 files donated by the composers; I’ve gotten those very same 20 Blood Omen 2-tracks off that website years ago, when it still was online. Legacy of Kain: The Lost Worlds (http://www.thelostworlds.net/LoKSeries/Soundtracks.html) has a page about the soundtracks mentioning LOKMusic, too.
