Ripped from the PC version of the game. Video audio from the 360 version.
!!!!!’s Nexus of Music Thread 2.0 (An Updated Thread) (Thread 119192)
The xbox 360’s native audio format (XMA) is better quality than the PS3’s usual choice for game audio (MP3).
Unless the PS3 game isn’t using MP3 then it depends on the format, but overall 360 usually has a higher quality of audio majority of the time 🙂

Yeah It’s like that with for example Transformers Fall of Cybertron but I’ve checked the PS3 version, like Mortal Kombat 9 (same dev) the IMA ADPCM audio quality is much better. I’ve tested it through spectrum analysis. Some of the audio can be currently ripped but a lot of it is distorted using current methods.

Thanks for this rip, I don’t have the game yet (waiting for Komplete Edition) but love Chris Drake’s work on DC animated movies so I know he won’t deceive!
Edit: arrgh, there are only two hosts and one is a paying site and the other installs a .exe with spywares I already dealt with… Guess I’ll have to wait someone reups it on mirrors!
W3rd. It’s awesome of !!!!! to make & upload these, and I thank him/her/it for doing it, but any free storage site that requires use of their own "download manager" is something best avoided.

Just use Jdownloader and get the DLC container that billionuploads provides you with. Problem solved.
But I HAVE to ask as this has been bugging me for the longest time: why is every song save for "Angel" slowed down? The score is pretty damn good, but it loses so much of it’s power heard that way. Did it come that way off of the disc? Are they like that in the 360 version (I have PS3)? I’m sorry, but I need to know, it drives me CRAZY every time a song from this rip pops up.

Funny. I was going to ask the same thing last week, but figured it might’ve been an issue with the download, or my computer’s hard drive.
To be clear, I am extremely appreciative this rip exists at all, but when I compare it to the official score, the tracks on this rip do seem (slightly) slower.
Is there any way this can be fixed?
Thanks for the rip, either way.

It must be how they’ve mixed the tracks on the game because my ripping method here is the same for MK9 which sounds fine. Currently this rip is from the 360 version but the PS3 doesn’t "sound" any different even though the quality is better. I believe the tracks were just horribly mixed when they were put in the game.

Sorry this is just how the music sounds in the game. To fix the tracks yourself you would have to use an audio program to raise the pitch a bit or time-stretch the song shorter, something I don’t plan to do.
Not only I lose two hours, compromise my computer security and expose my email address to the less trustable kind of site (for nothing then), but I should also give money to these crooks? That’s official, I quit that insane game.
Please, please let this big joke end and reupload this soundtrack on a normal site!
I’m desperate now.
-Re-ripped the PC Version which audio is better then the original 360 rip.
-Added songs from the game’s score.
-Re-tagged track titles to those in-game.
You can tell what files are 48000 kHz in FSB Extractor by looking at the mode column, 0x31 = 44100kHz / 0x33 = 48000kHz. For additional confirmation, compare the samples given in FSB Extractor to the samples shown when you edit the track.

Didn’t use FSB Extractor but one of the tracks was 44khz oddly when every single other track is 48khz: Themyscira. Re-uploaded and corrected that. Hopefully this’ll be the last update for a while if not the last.

WTF… What kind of a download site asks you to install a program? 2013 post but I don’t care, this is astonishing… You either clicked an ad (way to go) or you failed to spot that you were being asked to use a download manager (an option that can be unchecked). Either way it’s very likely your own fault. Harsh but it’s the truth. Next time keep your eyes peeled when going to any kind of filehosting website.
