Favorite video game music

Simple. Just name your favorite music from a game. Give as much info as possible like the track title, where it appears in the game, composer, and of course, tell the name of the game too.

Batman: Arkham City
Arkham City Main Theme – appears in the main menu.

I Think You Should Do What He Says – appears in the game when you’re fighting a bunch of thugs. An example of this is when you had to use smoke to "disappear" and grapple to the gargoyle vantage points and take out four armed thugs without being seen to save the doctors or whoever.

WWF No Mercy:
Main Menu music – its appearance in the game is obvious by the title – Main Menu.

Spiderman and Venom: Maximum Carnage:
Main Title – appears during the main title sequence.
Streets Of New York – first stage of the game.
Climb – second stage.
Rooftop – third stage.
Boss Battle – anytime you battle a boss.
Score music – appears after you finish a level and it shows your score before moving to the next level.

Turtles In Time:
Character Selection – appears during character selection
Big Apple, 3AM
Alleycat Blues – has to be my favorite music of the whole game
Sewer Surfin – tied with Alleycat Blues as my favorite of the game
Boss Battle – appears when you face a boss

Metroid Prime 2: Echoes – Temple Grounds Main Theme (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecERMOrdghU&sns=em) – Kenji Yamamoto, Kouichi Kyuma. Plays while in the Temple Grounds. This is my favorite song in the Metroid series. I play this in my car whenever I’m at my college campus grounds. Hehe…

Super Mario All-Stars – SMB1 Overworld (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgRP-F-TOOo) – Soyo Oka. This is my #1 favorite version of the SMB theme. Yes, I like it better than the original.

Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story – Grasslands, All the Way (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNpewu36VeE&sns=em) – Yoko Shimomura. The first half plays when you’re in Bumpsy Plains, the second half plays when inside Bowser. It’s so addicting and I listen to this in my car all the time. 😎

The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask – Stone Tower Temple (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNDLoncWz30) – Koji Kondo. Best music in a temple everrrrr.

Donkey Kong Country – Treetop Rock (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMoroEuJPA8) – David Wise. Plays in the treetop levels (obviously). Love it. I think the remade version of this song in Donkey Kong Country Returns is pretty good too.

Super Smash Bros. Melee – Multi-Man Melee 1 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ivuOaU4wjL0) – Hirokazu Ando. 1 of 2 songs that play while battling the wire frames. Makes you feel like a bad-ass while battling to this song.

Okami – The Tribe of the Heavenly Gods’ Theme (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzYTapju6bs) – Rei Kondoh. Do I really need an explanation?

Resident Evil 4 – The Mercenaries ~ HUNK (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E94tZ6XpzQQ) – Misao Senbongi, Shusaku Uchiyama. Plays when you play as HUNK in the mercenaries mode.

This is my exact same list for TMNT IV. And there’s a bunch of Mario songs on my mp3 player too.

Can’t say I’m crazy about SMB2 music, but the boss battle music’s cool. SM3….all the music in world 1 is my favorite along with the castle and boss battle music. I like everything in SMB1 and that applies to the original too.

MMPR The Movie has some cool music too. The character selection and stage 1 is the best.

Everything in Mega Man X is the best music of the entire X franchise if you ask me.

Original DKC and Rayman has some wonderful music. The music in DKC’s first water level is especially a beautiful work of art.

I also listen to a ton of game music so it was tough for me too. I’d imagine everyone would have a tough time considering what type of site this is lol.

I like way too much to list it all, so I’m just going to say certain games or series and their composers and leave it at that.
