Hello there everyone, In the glorious and unexpected upcoming of a new addition to the Drakengard series I thought that it might be an excellent time to see if anyone could possibly do a good game rip of Drakengard, Drakengard 2 and NieR.

I’ve mostly been looking for some in order to get a handful of themes not featured in the actual games.
Such examples from the 1st being Growing Wings, The Opening theme, the alternate arrangement for chapter 9 during the Inuart battle, events, and if anyone can get the alternate opening version of Growing Wings which was apparently also used for the trailer and features the chaotic ramblings of the characters in the background that would be utterly awesome as for whatever reason it always sends chills down my spine when I hear it.

As far as Drakengard 2 the only things that I can recall that are not featured on the soundtrack is the melancholic version of Growing Wings and the opening theme with the character’s speaking dialogue in a similar manor to what was done in the first, however I suppose its possible that there may be others as well. As for NieR I’m aware that there are several more available soundtracks than there is for Drakengard 1 & 2 so I’m really not sure if there’s anything from the game that’s not already featured on any of them, nonetheless a rip would still be nice in the chance that there are some.

Anyway, I know it’s probably a bit much to ask for but if anyone is willing to do and upload some game rips it be extremely appreciated.

Seeing as I’ve played both of the previous Drakengard games as well as the fantastic Nier, I’d like to second this! I’m actually playing Nier right now and I can’t believe I overlooked it when it was released back in 2010. It’s easily one of the most compelling, unique and heartfelt games I’ve ever experienced. I’m almost certain that the Lost Forest song on Nier’s soundtrack is different from the one playing when you arrive at the dock just before you scale the cliffs outside the Lost Shrine in part 2, so I believe there are some tracks (most likely only arrangements of them) that aren’t on any of the OSTs that have been released for Nier.

If that’s the case then a game rip for Nier would indeed be grand, I must defiantly say the game’s plot and characters are several Leagues better then Drakengard 2’s who’s only redeeming points where whenever Caim and Angelus got to be on screen, sadly however instead of being about the characters anyone actually cares about we are instead forced to play as generic J-RPG Protagonist #90856 and his marry band of misfits. Nier is without a doubt a far more appropriate sequel/spin-off to the original (even if it does apparently come as a result of the utterly bewildering and bizarre 5th ending) and I’m very happy to say from the material currently out it appears Drakengard 3 will also do the original proud. Either way though, I’m glad to see I’m not the only one who’d really be interested in some good game rips of these three games.

I discovered this game through its music thanks to TheOSTation, so I’ll see what I can do…

How’s the progress coming along, have you had any time to get around to it recently? I’m in not trying to rush you or anything I’m just curious since its been awhile.
