I’ve assembled a "Deep Space Nine" Theme archive, which takes (almost) every version of the DS9 title theme, all of them official and not third-party re-recordings (which are all terrible and aren’t worth listening to so they aren’t included) and places them here for listening. Some of them are DVD sourced, some of them from the various official album recordings, some are television broadcast-sourced.
18 tracks, and here are the details for each:
1. Seasons 1-3 Main Title (no sound effects, album)
2. Seasons 1-3 ‘Majestic’ commercial bumper (TV sourced)
3. Seasons 1-3 End Title (short version, album)
4. Seasons 1-3 ‘Action’ commercial bumper (TV sourced)
5. Seasons 1-3 Main Title (with sound effects, album)
6. Seasons 1-3 ‘Noble’ commercial bumper (TV sourced)
7. Seasons 1-3 End Title (long version, DVD sourced)
8. Seasons 1-3 Main Title (custom edit: the "Single version" edited down to resemble the TV version)
9. Seasons 4-7 Main Title (no sound effects, album)
10. Seasons 4-7 ‘Action’ commercial bumper (TV sourced)
11. Seasons 4-7 Main Title (from the season 4 premiere "The Way Of The Warrior". This is ONLY version of the DS9 main title that remains unreleased on any album. DVD sourced)
12. Seasons 4-7 ‘Noble’ commercial bumper (TV sourced)
13. Seasons 4-7 End Title (album)
14. Seasons 4-7 Main Title (alternate with synth drums, album)
15. Seasons 4-7 ‘Majestic’ commercial bumper (TV sourced)
16. Seasons 4-7 End Title (alternate with synth drums, album)
17. Theme from "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" Single Version (album)
18. DS9 – After 3am at Quark’s solo piano (album)
With the exceptions being the TV and DVD sourced tracks, it’s in lossless.

The reason I said "almost" every version of the theme, is because I did not include two minor end credit variants: A super-short one for season 1, and a short one for seasons 4-7.
Second link below makes use of some of these different versions of the title theme.
These are mp4 video files of the opening credit sequence, just to give listeners an idea of what these variants would have sounded like if they were actually used on the show.
Includes the following:
DS9 commercial bumpers (all six as one video, which I uploaded to YouTube a month or so ago). Only 27 seconds.
Season 1 main title (no effects)
Season 1 main title (single version edit)
Season 7 main title (alternate synth drum mix)
Season 7 main title (no effects)
Season 7 main title (Way Of The Warrior mix)
The videos are cropped to a faux-widescreen format.
If it was this video:

Nice work!

Any chance you could upload the rip?
I think there is one recording made by a third party that is pretty good, from the Space & Beyond album (more info here: Star Trek Soundtracks: Space and Beyond (http://www.startreksoundtracks.com/misc/space1.html)). It has the Main Title and then A New Beginning from Emissary. The first time I heard them together it was "oh, this is much better!".
Here you can listen to it: 140 razones : frontier001: So there (http://140razones.tumblr.com/post/44594511434/frontier001-so-theres-been-some-talk-on-my)

I’m not sure I understand. You want me to upload a rip of my own YouTube video when I put up an mp4 version of the source video I uploaded there as part of the second link, and the music from those bumpers is included in the first, so…help me out here. Or you wanted me to try to get the mp3 of that City of Prague track off that webpage?
I don’t know who made that post, but their claim that "everyone’s wrong" about other versions being better…..is just plain wrong. Sure it has a ‘bigger’ sound than the official recording but that doesn’t make it better. It’s not too bad although it’s even a little sloppy in places as most City of Prague re-recordings are. Nevertheless here is that very track featured on the webpage, only not taken from the webpage. This is a lossless version.

Thanks!
I think this is not City of Prague but another orchestra, it’s in the info of the Space & Beyond disc from Star Trek Sountracks page.
Could it be that Cliff Eidelmann recorded a version of the DS9 main title as well?
BTW, thanks for posting all the versions, bumpers, etc.
Space and Beyond
Composers Various
Conductors Nic Raine and Paul Bateman
Performers The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra, The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and The Crouch End Festival Chorus
You’re right, of course. Sorry, I guess I should go to sleep, it’s past 2 am here. 🙂
