Mad Max 2/Road Warrior Expanded Soundtrack

I’m looking for the expanded soundtrack. There apparently was a link to it on this forum but I can’t find. Does anyone have this score, knows of a link or can point me to the old link? With the new Mad Max film hitting the screen later this year and the release of all three discs in a collected set in June I wanted to hear a more complete version of the score. (The old VS one was only about 35 mins long.)

i know there was talks about Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron cast in this, but no Gibson…comeon a Mad max without Max???

First, thanks a million for the soundtrack. I’m so appreciative.

Second: yep, there will be a 4th film. In December George Miller and team finished principal photography. Hardy is Max, Theron is a new character called Furiosa, there will be a new V8 Interceptor (shame to blow it up) but no Gibson. (Apparently Mad Max 4 takes place shortly after Thunderdome so Gibson would be too old for the part. And given his recent and not so recent behavior I can’t see a movie studio backing a film with Gibson in it.)

Besides, Hardy is one hell of an actor and if anyone can do the part of Max right it would be Hardy. (The filming ran for 6 months in Namibia, Africa. Apparently because of all the rains in Australia the location they wanted to film at looked too nice and green and we can’t have nice and green in the Wastelands. Miller also shot, and don’t take this to the bank, two Max films back to back. So after the release of MM 4 look for MM 5. I wouldn’t be surprised if they hold off releasing MM 4 until next year. I’m guessing Warner Bros. is going to do a massive marketing campaign on this one.)
