Disney’s The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Various Song Instrumentals) – FLAC from WAV

These have been posted before, but not in FLAC format transcoded from the original WAV files, so enjoy!

Incidentally, these came from a sing-along book and CD/cassette tape series Disney did back in the 1990s, and out of the many titles available, only four included the original song instrumentals from the films. These were ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (cassette tape only), ‘The Lion King’ (CD and cassette tape), ‘Pocahontas’ (CD and cassette tape) and ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’ (cassette tape only). There was also a compilation release – ‘Disney Favourites’ (cassette tape only) that in addition to the above four titles, also included ‘A Whole New World’ from ‘Aladdin’ and ‘You’ve Got A Friend In Me’ from ‘Toy Story’. Finally, the series was deleted in the late 1990s before being replaced by the infinitely inferior ‘Disney Karaoke Series’ a few years after that.

‘Beauty and the Beast’ actually sounds better as the cassette tape copy I have of it had never been played until I ripped it 🙂 Will get that one uploaded asap.

You can hear it’s cassette when you listen to it.
Brings back a nostalgia feeling.
Overall, the quality is enjoyable and quite decent for a cassette transfer.

The Bells of Notre Dame and Topsy Turvy are my favorite tracks.
