Akira Kurosawa soundtrack thread

Over in my Masaru Satoh thread (Thread 128525), I offered to upload the Kurosawa music I have and this is me finally making good on that offer. I’m going to give each release it’s own post, so bear with me for a bit here. As with the Satoh thread, all of these uploads were collected over the internet over many years. I don’t actually own any of them. So the bitrates will vary and they’re already the best I’ve got.

Obviously, if anyone’s got anything I don’t have, please share!

The "Sanjuro" suite on disc 3 bears no resemblance to the score (post 8).
Anyone any idea what it really is??

It’s far from a soundtrack, but there is a 1:15 micro-suite from Stray Dog on the Complete Soundtracks set.

it’s always a shame when a post is only available from mega.co as I too cannot receive it
I understand it is a pain for the uploader to hit on something that the services want to deny, and that the mega zone is a safe bet for avoiding that,
and of course, there are still lots of available things here to find at the shrine, but for some titles it is very disappointing to be locked out

You know, there’s many versions of Throne of Blood ost floating around the www. So far this thread is the only place I’ve been able to find the complete ost @ 320 w/o missing art, tracks, titles, etc.

This has been a long and frustrating search, but I should have known I would eventually find my soundtrack on this site. Once I’ve found the target of my search, I silently complain about how the search engine sucks and one has to pore over each individual page on every relevant thread to find what you’re looking for…

That’s when I remind myself (for the umpteenth time) that there’s many, many dedicated fans and knowledgeable collectors on this site who strive to keep links active and other resources of info available to novices like myself. If this place is so bad, then leave. If not, pitch in, donate, whatever it takes, to make this a better site.

But what I can’t figure out is why so many people stay on this site, gathering so many audio nuggets day after day and yet still choose to bitch and whine about the pickings or the style in which they’re presented???

This shrine is only as good as we members want it to be. Just some food for thought…
