Tron: Legacy Complete (The So-Far Definitive Version) – yes I saw the typo above. Woops.

Oh here we go…is what I would think if I saw this. Except as far as I can tell, no one has done something similar yet. It’s is a hybrid of Metrotokyo’s very good complete version, the almost complete recording sessions, the OST, and album bonus tracks. As much as a holy grail the sessions are, the sound quality lacks the punch (and some synth instruments) present on the OST, and some of Metrotokyo’s material contained sfx – the only way it existed. So a compilation reflecting all the cues in logical order with the best quality thus far available was necessary.

Volume leveled and long pauses on the sessions removed. 65 tracks @320. No lossless ’cause the source material wasn’t lossless. Maybe someone finds this useful.

The sources were @320. This is not a remaster a la Sonic Adventure’s Deluxe Editions – only a detailed compilation from the best sounding sources available at the time.

Updated links in original post that fix the sequencing on a few tracks. The "Tron" cue after the C.L.U./Lightjets track is now fx free.

Folks, I’m shocked and flattered to discover this thread is still alive long after Metrotokyo’s far superior version came out. You can find version 2.0 of it here:

The reason I called it the "So Far Definitive Version" is I knew something better than this slapped together effort would come along and it did. Even SonicAdventure has an alternative take on it. I’m not sure if it’s up anymore but the covers alone are cool: Thread 127710

My version you guys have apparently been asking a re-up of is long gone on my end. I wish someone had PM’d me about a year ago and I would have broken the bad news then. Sorry.

Both of those versions don’t have the CD/album version of Flynn Lives (not 7m44, or the completely different song, though named Flynn Lives in the sessions, 7m45), which surprises me considering it’s by far the best track from Legacy (IMO)

Hell, SonicAdventure’s version doesn’t even have a separate slot for it, it’s only a combination between Arrival and Flynn Lives, which seems very silly in my opinion.

Honestly, if I could just get a FLAC for the non-sessions Flynn Lives, I’d be happy, and I was under the impression that part 2 of your mix would have AT LEAST a 320 of it. I may have been mistaken, though.

I don’t remember what this version had of that cue.
