it puzzles me as to why Charlie Clouser wasn’t involved in any of this…he scored over 8 films for Twisted Pictures.

I would like this also. I really couldn’t hear much of it over the sound of the bleedin’ chainsaw but what I did hear during the big chase sequence in the middle of the film seemed like good action material.

It would be nice to add this to the collection

A nice change of pace, in any case.

The past Chainsaw reincarnations have been by Jablonsky. While he did provide a chilling atmosphere, I would definitely like to hear other takes on it.
I have no real plans to watch this movie (the trailer looks horrible…more for tweens of the darker side of Twilight) but I would sit through to hear Frizzel’s rendition.

Clouser would definitely have been too obvious for it.

"The Beginning" is my ultimate favorite of the newer remakes though of the teen slashers. Provides a much more haunting score from Jablonsky.
I like it more than his A Nightmare On Elm Street yet I love that movie so much.

Nope, he totally trashed his site and there’s only like 7 tracks to listen to and nothing older than "On Stranger Tides"… :/
