How do you rip these songs? I would like to do something similar to Ratchet & Clank Full Frontal Assault.

To rip PSP BGMs, first, you need UMDGen or a similar software tool to view the content of the game and extract the sounds, then you need Sony Soundforge software to convert AT3 sound files to WAV, MP3 or whatever format file you want.

Actually it’s a ps3 download exclusive game for now, a ps vita version is due out soon and it would probably be easier to rip from but i wanted to go ahead and try. So do the same programs work for ps3 games.

About PS3 games, you need a PKG unpacker tool software to extract sound files from the game PKG, then depending of the files inside (Wwise RiFF OGG files…), you can find the needed tools at HCS64 homepage (Stream ripping tools (http://www.hcs64.com/vgm_ripping.html)) and Xentax forum (XeNTaX ? View forum – Audio file formats (http://forum.xentax.com/viewforum.php?f=17))

alright I got all files down to mostly DAT files but i still cant find the songs. I see some scripts to direct them but nothing else.
