I first saw this series on the beeb 17 years ago!
Fascinating look at the world of insects with some some "cutting edge" CGI which is probably laughable by today’s standards.

What really struck an emotional chord though was the music, in particular Track 14 (Earthrise). Truly beautiful stuff. I’d forgotten about it for all this time until last month when I found an old VHS recording of the series in the attic.

I immediately sought out the album, which was a little difficult not knowing it was titled "The Ocellus Suite". Found it in the end though…

Bumping this because I noticed some eerie similarities between this and the first track of Dead Space 3. I have them one after the other on my playlist and I hardly notice the change of scores.
