I have this 1991 CD on the Polydor label with exactly the same tracks – The Best of John Barry, but without "Very" in the title, so your’s must be better than mine! A wonderful collection I never tire of over the decades.

I have the CD and that is what it says on the back

but i have the cd the best of John Barry and that is what it says on the back of the best of John Barry

Actually there are three different versions of "The Very Best Of John Barry".
The first one released by Polydor in 1977 and never re-issued on CD. Then back in 1991 Polydor released updated version, which uploaded here – many thanks to dangduets! In 2007 Sony-BMG released utterly different compilation with 24 tracks.
So there’s no need to argue =)

Hi, I am restoring the 1977 lp version of this, take a look at the tracklist and covers I found:

Some tracks missed from this selection and others are added to do the cd version (Sony 2007).

I wish someone to help with the hard-to-find tracks from this lp.
