Last year Aerith’s Theme achieved 16th in the hard-fought top 300 Classic FM Hall of Fame.

Nobuo Uematsu’s Aeris Theme beat the pants off Adagio for Strings, 1812 overture, the Four Seasons and others.

Go to:

The Hall of Fame – The Best Classical Music of All Times (http://www.classicfm.com/hall-of-fame/)

and vote for you three favorite bits of orchestral video games music. Pieces have to be orchestral to count. Use one of your votes for ”Aerith’s Theme” as this will garantee something makes it in the chart.

Not sure if any of my favorite soundtracks would count as "orchestral".

Still, it’d be great to get some more video game stuff in there, even if it is only Final Fantasy. : p

I don’t know enough about classical music to place my votes seriously, but I gave Aerith’s Theme top spot and picked from the fairly arbitrary Yasunori Mitsuda and Miki Higashino options for 2nd and 3rd. Let us know when the results come out.
