Good tips. Yes there is a way to see less of the HUD, however, I was kinda cheeky in the way I captured these moves… I was trying to hit fast race times. And whenever something cool ‘happened’ I stopped recording. Over time I built up a selection of clips which you see here in this movie. Few, if any, of these clips were deliberately done. So it’s more a collection of cool stuff that happened by accident. To remove the HUD you have to play in another mode other than Race mode.
I ended up following up this movie with another two, made in the same way, all ‘accidental’ stunts. Although, some of the clips used in the two sequel movies were HUD less, which came about because I needed more material to fill the movies out.
To put into question your point number 4 – the in game sound effects are enabled. Not sure how you missed that one!
