Sony α Clock – Masashi Hamauzu (320kbps MP3)

Masashi Hamauzu composed the soundtrack for a site Sony released to promote their "α" CLOCK project. I ripped the music from the site and figured others would want it, so enjoy! All 58 tracks are 320kbps MP3 and are properly tagged. The music was all composed by him, though there are some guest vocals by Mina of Hamauzu’s band, Imeruat. They also worked together on the Final Fantasy XIII trilogy and various other projects. I created custom artwork for each track based on their location, using photos taken for the "α" CLOCK project.

Thank you for this. While some piano and violin tracks in here are pretty nice, I wish Hamauzu writes something out of his style once in a while. 😀

I really prefer and enjoy his more eclectic work, such as in the songs Lord Howe Island Group, or Old City of Sana’a. α Clock also sounds as if it’s something right out of Final Fantasy XIII. I can’t wait to hear what he does with the soundtrack for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Hopefully he gets hired to do some other stuff as well, because I’ve always been a huge fan.

Yeah, that soundtrack was great. Junya Nakano is basically right up there next to Hamauzu in terms of skill and they worked on that soundtrack together. Dirge of Cerberus had some really excellent tracks (one of my favorite songs ever is from this soundtrack). Can’t wait to hear what he has in store for the future.

Seriosly! Cant forget about good ol Junya. They are great Composers. Together on the MSL ost they are just beautiful from start to finish.

Yeah, it’s a shame Nakano left Square Enix to work with a group of friends. He hasn’t done anything since his departure. I just hope they can hire him back in the future because I’ve always been a huge fan of his work. His work on Final Fantasy X, Threads of Fate, and Project Sylpheed was all excellent.

Hamauzu has announced a cd version to be released on the 9th of October!! It includes 19 pieces for piano with all new recordings by Benyamin Nuss (you might know him from the Final Symphony concerts).

Step 1: Find the number of the song you want to get in the list below

Step 3: Ctrl+s to save the mp3

I’ve been listening to the music for The Legend of Legacy (on the website), over and over. I believe this will be one of his best soundtracks and it even sounds similar to Sigma Harmonics and Musashi: Samurai Legend.

You said 192k but you’re files are 128k and Tsukiru’s are 320k. Why?

Thank you so much for these – all the people who contributed to compiling these archives 🙂 there was a great channel featuring Hamauzu’s music on YouTube but it got deleted due to numerous copyright strikes (I believe) – it was the reason why I discovered and fell in love with most of these tracks a few years ago. The user managing it was such a nice guy, I wonder if he’s part of these forums as well?

Do you remember the name of the channel? I think it was a blonde dude who covered Hamauzu’s songs (his 40 minutes FFX suite was amazing)
