Pokemon X and Y (WorldWide Release for the 3DS on October 2013)

Nintendo has announced Pokemon X and Y few min (or hours ago for some people who will be reading this ;p) at their Nintendo Pokemon Direct on January 8th 2013.

The game will be released WORLDWIDE for the Nintendo 3DS on October 2013.

I’m not sure if I should buy this game when comes out…
I’ll wait for Pok�mon Z or DNA, I enjoyed a lot of Pok�mon games: Gold, FireRed, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond and Black but this one doesn’t look great at all, I mean, the graphics and battle scenes are stunning but the new trainer and pkmn designs suck… 🙁
Only time will tell if the games are good.

I hope they release a bundle like they did for the DSi for Black/White. I’d love a pretty 3DS.

Looks nice. But it baffles me how Nintendo has wasted time after time the opportunity to make a MMO Pokemon games.

This is the case with EVERY generation.

In MY case, this is the first generation that doesn’t amaze me at all (already explained).
I’m not the kind of person who writes "new generation? it sucks" and it’s too soon to tell if this generation will be good or not.

IT’S ABOUT DAMN TIME.

I mean, sure, the MegaTen series ‘did it first’, but it’s nice to see Pokemon moving into 2000.

I just hope the 3D is something that I can turn off, at all times.

The 3D is the main reason why I haven’t gotten a 3DS.

Can’t stand the graphics on the new games. I am not complaining as I understand why it needs to be done, but how I long for the graphics of Blue through to Ruby. Can’t even really stomach the newer Pokemon games anymore, just doesn’t seem right to me.

I’ve played just about all of them except for Sapphire, FireRed, Diamon, and Pearl. No really what’s wrong with the way some of them look? Especially in Black2/White2 where everything is a lot more vivid/lively? Does this include battles as well? Especially the climax and finale of both Black/White and Black2/White2

I’ve played Pokemon since day 1 and aren’t seeing the disgust that you’re seeing. Maybe that’s just me being me, but…still I don’t know what it is that you can’t stand.

I just don’t enjoy the 3D graphics of I think all of the games after Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald.

I’m so happy this game is finally coming out. I’ve been waiting for a new Pokemon on a console without hacks! Plus the 3DS is my favorite handheld ever. Hopefully it lasts…
