It’s a joke? Come on! He can’t direct Star Trek AND Star Wars… COME ON!!

I know how you feel, AFMG. It’s very weird. I know some actors and design people have crossed over, but directors? Now GL needs to direct an episode of the next Trek TV show.

Abrams is a good, solid director. It’s better news than if, say, Chris Columbus was going to direct Star Wars movies. (Ugh! How does that guy keep getting directing jobs!?)

Even Uwe Boll can do a better job than Lucass, be thankful with what you got.

I can only imagine what will happen if Disney decides to release the original trilogy in its theatrical version! Lucass will want to shot himself.

Plus, imagine if EP VII makes more money than Titanic or Avatar! He probably saw his SW useless merchandise was dropping in sells, and he thought "ok, its better to take out of my way this bomb"….when the actual problem was him and his horrific ideas.

George Lucass made a movie with Chewacca celebrating xmas with his family…….What you are saying is GOLD compared to that.

Oh yeah! And he made the proquels also, which are as bad as those…….well…..the SFX of Xmas special were better at least.

I hope they will bring back some of the original actors (Hamill, Ford, Fisher, etc.) I wouldn’t mind that they’d be so old if the main story revolved around their children or something like that.
