oh my! ive not felt this emotional since maybe…..’a beautiful mind’. this is a masterpiece. beautiful use of strings and piano, totally organic, and the colours…….i can see them so vividly. Im now even more interested as to why this replaced horners

It reminded me more of his 80’s type of writing…. Some of the string writing was sublime…. it’s very different from the score that’s in the film….not as simplistic ….. so to speak

I’m wondering exactly the same thing. I’ve been checking this forum ever since the rejection of Horner’s score was made known. I’ve also done my best to search the internet, to no avail. I hope that it is released soon! I’m absolutely heartbroken about Horner being taken off the project and I cannot wait to hear what I’m sure is some tremendous music!

Horner’s score wasn’t rejected.

The film underwent a lot of editorial changes and Horner was asked to re-write some of the score to fit the changes made but he refused, instead simply walking away from it so another composer could start from the beginning.

Horner could never be this subtle and graceful anymore. Good riddance in any case!

Horner’s my favorite composer but now that i’ve listened to this i can say that i’m glad Korzeniowski got the job! He’s an extremely talented composer and this might just be my favorite score from him!
