What’s your TOP TEN 10 Favorite Songs of Akira Yamaoka?!

This is thread for Akira Yamaoka fans (Silent Hill, Shadows of the Damned).
What are your top ten favorite Akira songs?

I love his SH music. Too many songs to count.

Here’s a few favorites:

Shattered Memories – Always on my Mind
Silent Hill 3 – You’re not here
Silent Hill 3 – Breeze – in monochrome night
Silent Hill 3 – I Want Love (Studio Mix)
Silent Hill 4 – Tender Sugar
Silent Hill 2 – True
Silent Hill 2 – Promise (Reprise)

Well…. I’m a fan of AKIRA YAMAOKA’s music and Im very interested in a lot of similitudes between songs. I consider it as part of the "magic" who Akira Yamaoka does while he is composing the soundtracks.

-"Fortunate Sleep – Noone Disturbs Her Dead" (SH4) has the same sounds that "The Terminal Show" (SH: Homecoming).

-The track "Ice" from SH: Shattered Memories is like the chorus version of "Nightmarish Waltz" (SH4)

-A very interesting case is "Battle Drums" (SH: Origins) who includes a rare melody who is also present in a song of Resident Evil 4.

-There is a opera like song that appears in Silent Hill Origins, later in the battle theme of Scarlett (SH: Homecoming) and in Silent Hill 4. The opera also plays in "Justine’s Opera Ballet" of Shadows of the Damned and at the beginning of "Mad Season" from iFUTUREALIST album.

-"The Bird’s Nest" (Shadows of the Damned Original Soundtrack) is the same "Witchcraft" (SH Homecoming), with a little mix.

-"Different Persons" (SH Shattered Memories) is a remix of a song that appears in Homecoming when Alex is fighting the Schisms for the first time.

-Other similitudes are present between SINE MORA and SUDA’S 51 SDATCHER songs. As an example, the song "Counterfeit" from SDATCHER is a remix of the Losei Imperial Aiborg Factor BGM (Sine Mora).

And those are just some of the many similarities between songs. Specially they are a lot between Shadows of the Damned and Silent Hill.

Akira Yamaoka is a genius. I can’t wait for hear his job in the KILLER IS DEAD Soundtrack who will be released within the game in some days. (August 1st, Japan. August 27th, NA).

as for my favorite tracks, I couldn’t say since I’m not familiar with the names of the tracks.
