Google would answer that question for you, though the most obvious clue is the cast list above, which would tell you it’s not the movie version LOL!

Anyway, I still have the 3-cassette edition I bought when it first came out back in the 1990s and the CD edition after that. It’s a great recording of the entire show for those not familiar with it.

Every time I see this thread bumped to the top I think it is the new deluxe soundtrack from the movie just for a few seconds. This is a great album on it’s own though!

Argh! This keeps showing up in New Posts and I keep clicking thinking it’s the Deluxe Edition of the movie soundtrack released a few days early. Not that I don’t like this but I swear I’ve clicked this about ten times now.

I think this is my favourite recording of the show, from back when it was still a piece of musical theatre rather than a stadium event. Gary Morris is a bit of an acquired taste, and I do kinda wish they’d gone with the legendary Colm Wilkinson for posterity’s sake, but Morris is still pretty remarkable in his own right.
