John Williams – Conciertos Extraordinarios Madrid 2010 (mp3-320)

Hello, two weeks ago on Saturday, December 8, I had the good fortune to attend John Williams Concert at San Diego Symphony Hall, to remember that extraordinary event, I want to share this Madrid Show.

First I just want to say that previously had been able to saw live Jerry Goldsmith, John Barry and Ennio Morricone, now that I finally saw John Williams In Concert, it was a much happier experience for me, not because the others were not, on the contrary I loved those shows, but John Williams has always being my favorite composer and I’ll remember my whole life that wonderful event.

John Williams gave two concerts at San Diego, both sold out, Maestro Williams was introduced by Mayor Bob Filner who obviously was very excited to do so.

As you can see it was a Spectacular Concert, the audience was so pleased and I was lucky enough to be part of it, Maestro Williams received a 10 minute standing ovation at the end of the show.

For me it was mind blowing, an amazing experience, exquisitely beautiful, the finest event I’ve ever been.

So here are the links for the Madrid concert, and some photos that I took at San Diego, by the way photography was not permitted, and a member of the audience sitting next to my wife commented: "is too bad not to be able to take pictures", "it’s like seeing Beethoven conducting", well I most agreed on that.

Wish I could attend some day soon a John Williams’ live performance. I’d been only at a Mychael Nyman one and was fantastic.

I remember this, it was on a radio if I’m remembering correctly. But Jaws wasn’t part of the concert apparently.

By the way, the concert was in 2011. BTW, is this the same one I uploaded in 2011, or is this a new rip of that same concert?

Yes I can’t believe how lucky I am, not even in my wildest dreams thought I’d be in the same place two years later watching Williams again.

Because on January 31 I’ll be enjoying Williams one more time , I couldn’t be happier!
