The Soundtrack features original score by Academy Award winner Howard Shore recorded at famed Abbey Road Studios by the London Philharmonic Orchestra. One of today’s most respected, honored, and active composers and music conductors, Howard Shore previously worked with director Peter Jackson on The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy, which stands as his most towering achievement to date. He won three Academy Awards for his music for those films.

Incorrect. He won the Academy Award for The Fellowship and Return of the King, for which Annie Lennox also won Best Original Song for "Into the West". Elliot Goldenthal took home the 2003 Academy Award for "Frida"

Actually, Shore did win three Oscars for his work on LOTR. He won for Best Original Score for FOTR and ROTK, and shared credit with Annie Lennox and Fran Walsh for "Into the West." (He orchestrated the song, and wrote the melody with Annie Lennox.) Also, the only reason TTT wasn’t nominated for Original Score was a rule technicality that has since been fixed.
