Forgot one thing: thanks for the artwork 🙂
Affirmative.
hmm ?
Not sure I understand. even though I don’t agree with the flac thing for a widely available CD (and a rather cheap one, at that).
Most probably.
which isn’t a bad idea per se. what’s fun is what happened to me on another when trying to download a Blade runner bootleg.
it offered me to buy the Shawshank Redemption
I can’t understand all the controversy with FLAC and so. It’s really anyone going to spend $30 just for the improvement from mp3-320 to FLAC? (Barely noticeable for most humans) Do people really think that limiting uploads to mp3 is going to make the difference? If you pay for the CD is because you want to "touch" and "read" the music and simply "have it". Some KHz of difference don’t have a big role there.
My experience: I own 1500+ original CDs, I started ripping them (I just hear music in digital format, no more CD players in my life, just the one I use to rip) until I noticed that downloading was way faster for me. If I get a downloadable mp3-320 version of them, I don’t waste 10 min in generating my own FLAC (be sure, my equipment is good enough to play FLAC, and "notice the difference" maybe not my ears, at least 99.9% of my lifetime). I always first try to get a FLAC in order to download, but If I have the mp3-320 and a FLAC becomes available, you can be sure that I will have to be really little busy in order to get it. I own dozens of still sealed CDs, simply because I downloaded the mp3 and the booklet doesn’t seem interesting enough.
Maybe there’s someone around there who sleeps better knowing that only a mp3-320 is widely available, but for me it’s nearly ridiculous. It’s 100% piracy, lets talk clear.
I had in mind ripping some of my CDs to FLAC just for sharing them here; there are some interesting pieces, most of them old editions, not necessarily too expensive if you reach them, but not available for download around (otherwise I won’t rip them, be sure). The problem is that I’m not sure if someone will get offended…
Just my thoughts…
Thanks anyway for this great forum and all the awesome uploads.
Very thankful, my friend!!!… 🙂
Thank you.
This is my favorite soundtrack 🙂
